Hello, my name is Aaron Wilson and I am currently a BFA4 Lighting Design student in my last semester at California Institute of the Arts. I first started my lighting design journey when I asked my dad during the summer between middle and high school what club I should join in high school. Him, knowing that my wardrobe already consisted of majority black clothes recommend tech. So I signed up for Theater Tech in 2014 without knowing a single thing about it.

Since that very fortuitous leap of faith I have continued to work and expand my knowledge in various lighting areas with concerts, festivals, television and touring really catching my interest. But overall I look to create experiences that are memorable and approach every project with open eyes and the desire to learn new things.
